About the Event
Fertile Ruins is where artistic celebration did not have to be divorced from the brutal realities we face, but could instead be a means of engaging those realities more deeply. Tired of the a-political cynicism we found in so much of the art world, we want to wholeheartedly take-on notions and practices of community, politics, love, care, and just giving a shit. If we’re living the apocalypse, the end of this world, how do we leave fertile ruins for the next?
