Mime kitchen #8 Felix Schellekens (online via zoom)

Felix Schellekens (°Breda 1990) is an eccentric player with a great love for interdisciplinary theatre. He can often be seen in performances with mixed forms of dance, repertory theatre, opera, movement theater and music theatre. He is not easily caught in one discipline.

Felix graduated in 2015 from the Mime Education Amsterdam. For his graduation performance, he won the Its Actors Prize at the ItsFestival. As an actor and performer, he has appeared in the work of Nicole Beutler, Eline Arbo, Rene Geerlings, Jessie l'Herminez, Espen Hjort, Casper Vanderputte, Judith Faas and others.

In 2021 he was nominated for a Louis D'Or for his role in 'Weg Met Eddy Bellegueule' by Eline Arbo, together with his three co-stars, and in 2021 '8:Metamorphosis' by Nicole Beutler received the VSCD Mimepijs, a VSCD Zwaan nomination and won the international 'Music Theater Now' competition.

His background in graphic design, inexhaustible love for music and fascination for chaos and the sublime are carriers for all his work.
